MEE engineers, Larry Hanke, Ryan Haase, and Dan Grice will all be attending the Materials Science & Technology (MS&T)\u00a0Conference next week in Salt Lake City. MS&T brings together scientists, engineers, students, suppliers and more to discuss current research and technical applications, and to shape the future of materials science and technology. It is organized in a joint partnership between four leading materials science-related societies \u2013 ACerS, AIST, ASM International, and TMS.<\/p>\n
Besides attending technical talks, all three have a busy schedule of professional society meetings. Larry will be attending Board of Trustee meetings for the Failure Analysis Society and ASM International. Ryan, as a new member of the editorial board for the Journal of Failure Analysis and Prevention (JFAP), and will be meeting with that group during the week. Dan is doing two presentations at the convention as well as acting as a session chair.<\/p>\n
